CRWND Ambassadors

My name is Desmaryah Jackson and I am a graduating  senior from Compton,CA. My plan after graduating high school is to go straight into college. I know that sounds the the typical plan, but it’s my plan! I want to stay in California, so I will most likely got to a Cal State and I would like to major in Kinesiology. 

Also, I feel like CRWND is a nice and inspiring program. The mentors have a big influence. Seeing how they were just like us at one point and now they are making it farther in life with nothing stopping them. I feel like they have impacted my life in a great way and they give me motivation. I wanted to become a CRWND Ambassador because when people look back, I’m going to be one of the first ever Ambassadors for CRWND, Inc. and that’s just the beginning. 

I am a great leader and I feel like having the qualities such as, being resilient, speaking up, sharing ideas, and being realistic with everyone can be impactful. These are qualities of being a great leader to me. I plan on leading as an example by doing everything in my power that I can possibly do to speak up for others. 

My name is Randynn Bailey. I am a senior from Compton, CA.  My plan after high school is to go straight to college. Most people say have a year to relax but not me! I want to attend a private school and major in culinary arts. My feelings about CRWND are that there are a lot of inspirational programs that encourage people, especially our Black girls to do a lot of things in life like start their own company, etc. For me CRWND has taught me things about college, scholarships, financial aid, and much more. I wanted to become an Ambassador for CRWND because I feel like I’m a well-spoken person, and I like promoting things like this that encourage people to wanna do things. Important leadership qualities I have consist of being a good communicator, having empathy, being a good motivator, having confidence, and having a lot of creativity. I plan on leaving by example and doing good things to lead people by example. Me being in this program is already teaching me how to be a great leader and successful person.
