Our Mission
The mission of CRWND, Inc. is to provide mental health education, support academic advancement, provide genuine mentorship, along with creating opportunities for girls and women (including transgender women/ girls and nonbinary folks) to cultivate strong leadership skills in hopes of inspiring them to become leaders of tomorrow.
Our Purpose
CRWND, Inc. aims to promote mental health, exceptional scholarship, leadership, and mentorship between Black girls and women.
Our History
CRWND, Inc. was founded on December 4, 2021, with the original goal of promoting mental health, life skills, and offering mentorship to marginalized female-identifying youth in Compton, CA. However, the goals of the organization expanded when our founder realized the need for more organizations that could balance providing mentorship, supporting academic achievement, teaching skills for leadership, and most of all providing tools for wellness. The goal was to help youth reach their goals and dreams while maintaining positive mental health. During our founding month of December 2021, CRWND, Inc. launched its first campaign of service by hosting a toy drive with Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
